2010 Think Tank

As always we attempt to discuss issues in the context of New Covenant Theology. This year we presented papers and discussion on Sanctification, Antinomianism and the New Covenant Community.
Next year we may look at the Upper Room Discourse and its relationship to John 1 and 1st John 3.
The papers/manuscripts will be added soon. At present they are being edited for content, footnotes and  bibliographical material. Please check back. The texts may include some material that is not in the video presentation. Once posted it might help to watch the video and follow along with the manuscript.
There will also be video of post presentation discussions for some sessions once edited.

Various Views of Sanctification
The video presentation is largely based on an analysis of “The Five Views of Sanctification” published by Zondervan and written by Mike Sullivan at Xenos.org. There are sections I have not used and there are some additions and interacting with the author that is further explained in the manuscript.. In the manuscript I have added an addendum of my own thoughts after the analysis section..

This dialogue from the Sound of Grace Forum is very much related to what we discussed at our Think Tank. It concerns obedience and motivation in a dialogue between Shane Becker and Greg Gibson. Shane’s point of view is what we would agree with.
